Caroline Clark 16, of Muncie passed away in a tragic auto accident along with her sister, Annie, on Friday January 2, 2015.  She was born on July 1, 1998 in Muncie, a daughter of John and Jill (Bailey) Clark, a sister at home Gwendolyn, one brother and his family.  Justin and Chelsea Journay, and their daughter Meya, of Muncie.
Caroline was a sophomore at Cowan Jr./Sr. High School, where she was a member of the Key Club, student council, high school choir, and participated in track and cross country. Caroline was also a member of Delaware County PRIDE Team, member of Hazelwood Christian Church where she loved to participate in summer mission trips and youth activities.

Her passion for competitive gymnastics began at age 3.  She was currently a level 9 gymnast with the Anderson Gymnastics team.  When she was not in the gym, she could still be seen doing flips and even walking on her hands.  Her gymnastics teammates which were more like family watched for her smiling face at the beginning of each practice.  When she walked through the door of the gym she would strike a pose and everyone would know it was going to be a fun practice.

Caroline loved to make people laugh and was very successful at it.  There are many “Caroline stories,” all of which describe her passion for the positive.

Her charming innocence is best described as her lack of a verbal filter.  If she thought it she spoke it.

Caroline loved gymnastics and was following her dream.  Caroline would love more than anything to see other gymnasts be able to follow their dreams through the Caroline Clark Opportunity Scholarship Fund.
